Joe Webb is a Houston native who briefly escaped the heat and humidity to reside in Denver, Colorado after completing college. Joe attended Klein High School and went on to graduate from Texas A&M University with a degree in Industrial Distribution. After working in the semiconductor industry in Denver, Colorado for 6 years and a downturn in the technology sector, Joe and his wife Joanne relocated back to Texas. Joe spent the next year trying his hand in the financial services industry working for the MONY Group. The eventual take over of the MONY Group by AXA in 2004 would unknowingly steer Joe into his current career in tax preparation. Joe went to work for a small family-owned tax, accounting and financial services firm where he would work for the next 14 years servicing individuals and small businesses with a focus on the law-enforcement community. Looking to play to his strengths, Joe made the decision to open his own tax preparation business in 2018 along with his wife. Joe believes that while life at times will be challenging having your taxes prepared professionally shouldn’t be.
Simplify tax was formed in 2018. The husband and wife team of Joe and Joanne Webb look to deliver tax preparation and tax consulting services in a way that simplifies life.

Joe Webb
Joe was born in Houston, Texas and grew up in the Spring-Klein area. After graduating from Klein High School, Joe was accepted to Texas A&M University where he would go on to complete his undergraduate degree in Industrial Distribution. Upon completing his school Joe moved to Denver, Colorado where he spend the next 6 years in the semiconductor industry. In 2002 Joe and his wife and their newly born son returned to Houston where Joe briefly worked for an insurance and financial services firm. That work would lay the foundation for Joe’s eventual, and current, occupation as a tax professional. After his time in financial services, Joe went to work as a tax professional for the next 14 years for a family owned and operated tax, accounting and financial firm that specialized in law enforcement. In 2018, Joe and his wife, Joanne, decided they would open the doors to their own tax service and Simplify Tax was born. Joe and Joanne have a son and daughter and currently live in Cypress.

Joanne Webb
Joanne brings over 20 years administrative experience in Office Management, Communication and Client Relationship and service. She is responsible for the day-today office administrative duties which include scheduling appointments, tax document process and payments. She also ensures that the office runs efficiently while demonstrating outstanding customer service to our clients, prospective clients and business partners.
